About Cap San Diego
The Cap San Diego is the last remaining ship of a series of six fast cargo ships that were built in 1961/62 for the shipping company Hamburg-Süd and sailed primarily to South America until the end of 1981.
Its elegant silhouette is as much a part of the Hamburg harbor panorama as the Speicherstadt and the Michel. Hamburg residents and tourists love it. The crew, consisting of both full-time and volunteer members, keeps the Cap San Diego in good condition with a lot of dedication. Since 2003, the museum ship has also been a maritime monument and floating hotel, and today it is moored at the Überseebrücke in Hamburg.
Tickets for the conference-party can be booked at the registration for a total of 80€. Please note that accessibility may be limited due to the lack of elevators on the ship.
